Underdeck insulation is installed from inside the building, which means the roof stays watertight and the work can often run alongside production. Foil-faced glass wool or rockwool is fixed against the underside of the sheeting, held with GI mesh, wire and clips, and detailed around purlins, ducts and lighting.
It suits warehouses, PEB sheds, cold stores, auditoria and pharmaceutical units where the roof is the dominant heat gain. Where the roof is being replaced anyway, we will tell you to do overdeck instead.
